Games at the Senior Center
Bingo: First Friday of the month in the Auditorium. Doors open at 4:00 pm. Pre-Warm Up at 5:40 pm. Regular play starts promptly at 6:00 pm. Minors under age 18 not permitted.
Bridge Club: Thursday, 12:30 pm in the Lounge
Chess Club: Thursday, 10:00 am in the Lounge or Multi Purpose room
Hand & Foot Cards: Tuesday, 12:30 - 4:00 pm in the Lounge
Ping-Pong: Open play Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm in the Game room. Equipment available for loan at the office. Ping Pong Group meets Tuesdays at 1:00 pm.
Pool and Billiards: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm in the Game room
Fitness at the Senior Center
ACES (Adult Class Exercise for Seniors): Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 - 10:00 am in the Auditorium. Emphasis on stretching and range-in-motion exercises.
Balance: Tuesday, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Auditorium. Class is designed for those who want to work on acquiring better balance.
P.A.C.E. (People with Arthritis Can Exercise): Tuesday & Thursday, 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the Auditorium.
Tai Chi: Tuesday & Thursday, 10:30 am - 11:30 am in the Auditorium East. Casual class in Yang form Tai Chi is relaxing and helps improve balance and flexibility.
Walking Group: Wednesday, 10:00 am (weather permitting).
Bocce Ball: Thursday, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Bocce Ball courts at the corner of Shasta and Dunes in Morro Bay.
Pickleball: Monday - Sunday, open play from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Saturday, 8:30 am - 9:00 am introductory lessons for the game. Courts are at Del Mar Park, 3060 Ironwood Avenue, Morro Bay. $1 minimum donation suggested each play day.
Swimming Pool Activities: Pool located at Morro Bay High School, 235 Atascadero Road, MG. Click on the link for the exact times http://www.morro-bay.ca.us/1019/Aquatics. Aqua Aerobics: Monday - Friday, 11:30 am - 12:15 pm; Morning Lap Swim, Tuesday & Thursday; Afternoon Lap Swim, Monday - Friday and Sunday; Swim Lessons, email ktucker@morrobayca.gov to register for lessons. *MBAA...55+ members can purchase 11 swimming Pool Activity Passes for the price of 10 passes. Show your membership card at the Senior Center office to receive this special offer.
